Description
GENERAL :
Responsible for completing general labor assignments in support of production operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) :
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Load and unload equipment, handle material at all stages, and assist in all testing processes as assigned and instructed.
- Assist in the operation of all testing equipment as instructed.
- Operate material handling equipment in compliance with all safety requirements.
- Maintain clean work areas and orderly storage of fixtures, product and material handling equipment.
- Wear personal protective equipment and follow safety instructions as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. parts and other items from floor to waist on a frequent basis while protecting lifted items from damage.
- Must be able to stand for several consecutive hours without rest, with frequent bending and reaching.
- Must be able to walk within and between areas frequently and climb stairs occasionally.
- Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to perform repeat tasks successfully with minimal supervision.
Work Schedule
8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m. with 1 / 2 hour lunch
