Admissions Officer
Position Information : Responsible for Tulsa undergraduate and graduate admissions operations, including intake, processing and file maintenance.
Works with undergraduate recruitment efforts for the Tulsa campus.
Provide on-site recruitment at Tulsa Community College for OU Tulsa programs as well as attend other area transfer recruitment events.
Provides admission counseling to individuals who are interested in OU-Tulsa undergraduate programs in Architecture, Engineering, Education and Arts & Sciences.
- Process all incoming admissions materials : creating files, monitoring for complete credential, preparing referrals, forwarding to departments, entering final decisions.
- Ordering and processing of all official correspondence with prospective and current applicants regarding their admission process.
- Update student data changes, including updated transfer articulation, major changes and name changes.
- Support Registrar and ISS with both intake of international student population at OU Tulsa.
- Assist Registrar with preparation of reports related to admissions / retention in Tulsa
- Provide administrative support for transcript printing, one card operations, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications :
Required Education : Bachelor's degree.
Equivalency / Substitution : Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Working Conditions :
- Physical : Ability to bend, lift, stoop and carry. Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
- Environmental : Standard office environment. Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods. May be required to travel.
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies. Requires contact with other departments and university officials.
Willingness to work extended and weekend hours during peak periods.
Certifications or Licenses :
Valid Oklahoma Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Basic math skills
- Computer skills, including proficiency in navigating and maintaining databases
- Some travel required for recruiting
- Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
- Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to communicate well and build rapport with students, faculty and staff
- Ability to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations
- Customer service
