Position Summary
The School of Education seeks applications between July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025, from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the Educator Preparation program for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Instructors teach undergraduate pre-service teaching courses in one or more areas of;
PreK - Grade 3 : Early Childhood Education
Kindergarten - Grade 12 : Art, Foreign Languages, Instructional Technology; Music
Secondary - Grades 7-12 : Agricultural Education, Business Education, English, Family and Consumer Studies, Marketing Education, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Speech, Technology Education.
Desirable candidates can teach these courses face-to-face, online, on-campus, and in local schools in areas of their expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and / or summer term, contingent upon enrollments and need.

Required Job Qualifications
Earned masters degree in education or a related field
P-12 teaching license and / or a minimum of 3 years professional work experience in P-12 teaching or administration.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Earned doctorate degree in education or a related field
Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students using face-to-face and distance technologies
Evidence of successful collaboration with public school teachers and administrators
Experience in course development
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and practice
Evidence of or potential for scholarship and publication commensurate with a research university (high research activity)
