Director of Professional Services

Kopis is seeking a full-time Director of Professional Services to lead our services team to new levels of efficiency and productivity and to innovatively and creatively assess and redefine processes which will allow Kopis to continue to grow.

If you're a humble leader with a solid understanding of the intricacies of the software as a service industry; specifically in the areas of custom web application and mobile development, Business Intelligence, ERP solutions, and the Project Management that surrounds them, Kopis may have a role for you.

Delivering Exceptional Client Experiences

Ensuring the team is :

• Providing fast, accurate and complete deliverables (estimates, mockups, project plans, etc.) to support sales
• Setting (and re-validating when necessary) expectations with clients throughout relationship
• Providing clear communication and visibility into project status while maintaining strong delivery partner relationships outside of the sales function
• Delivering projects with high quality, on time and on budget while always seeking to optimize project execution
• Sending timely, accurate and clear invoices to clients

Serving as an escalation path for issues with client relationship

Focusing on continuous improvement of client experience

People first

Being a conduit of communication both to and from the team as well as with customers and leadership

Fostering strong team chemistry and collaboration and maintaining a "no drama" environment

Solving challenging issues within the team and maintaining accountability

Maintaining respect throughout the team

Providing humble leadership that empowers your team to grow and become more independent

Team planning

Right sizing the team to current project capacity and allowance for growth.

Possessing the analytical skills to measure and manage utilization based on targets

Creating financial forecasts based on analysis of past and current metrics along with leading indicators of what's most likely in the future

Recognizing skillset gaps and opportunities

Communicating proper urgency with leadership on project status andavailability of resources when leadership involvement is necessary

Providing leadership and guidance on scheduling to optimize client experience, team morale and business success metrics

Process improvement

Taking ownership of results from Services - estimating process through client support - consistently setting good expectations and delivering on them

Defining metrics and success criteria that can be measured and evaluated regularly

Working with Services team members to identify and resolve recurring issues

Prioritizing time spent to maximize impact
