MACHINING QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST $21+, DOE
- 2+ years of industry-related experience is required
- 3+ years of inspection and quality control are required
- Full-time, Day shift
- Monday-Thursday work schedule

Duties :
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that all employees are aware of and given the means to meet the quality goals in QMS and to control or mitigate risk
- Ensures that all QMS documented information is input, stored, and updated promptly
- Collaborate with Estimating, Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Customers, as required to facilitate the estimating process
- Performs part inspections and creates records thereof for internal purposes or to meet the reporting requirements of customers
- Provides support and training in the use of inspection equipment for other employees
- Communicate the findings of the QMS to all individuals in a way that furthers the quality goals of the business and customers
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements :
- 2+ years of industry-related experience
- 3+ years of inspection and quality control
- Experience with PC-DMIS software and the operations of a DCC CMM
- Be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaborate well with others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Extensive experience with reading technical drawings and understanding of standards as they relate to the metal-working industry
- A thorough understanding of GD&T principles is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations
- A quality-based work ethic
- A willingness to assert independent opinions on matters affecting the quality of products
