Trusted Staffe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our esteemed partner hospital in Abilene, Texas, in the Pediatrics unit.

Job Summary :
In this role, you will leverage your nursing expertise to deliver direct, individualized care to children within the Pediatrics unit.
You will apply scientific nursing principles to ensure the highest quality care, working closely with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
You will uphold the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act and actively participate in committee activities, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities :
Deliver compassionate and personalized nursing care to pediatric patients.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their child's condition, treatment, and care needs.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, specialists, and other nurses, to provide holistic care.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in pediatric nursing.
Job Requirements :
Minimum Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or Associate Degree).
Minimum Work Experience : 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics.
Required Licenses / Certifications :
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
CPR-BCLS certification.
PALS certification within 18 months of hire.
