The Client Analytics team offers candidates the opportunity to leverage data & analytics to drive actionable insights and strategies for our partners.

Collaboration Opportunities

The Director, Client Analyst role will be serving as a strategic advisor to key internal Evolent Administrative Services and Specialty Partner Operations and external partners.

This will include conveying actionable insights that drive Evolent's value story and executing change management strategies aligned to the organization's evolving analytical needs.

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Leading a team of stateside and global analytical resources. This includes managing team capacity, mentoring junior team members, and guiding the team toward scalable development that builds on historical capabilities across Tech & Services (T&S) business units.
  • Serving as a strategic advisor to key internal and external stakeholders, which includes conveying actionable insights that drive Evolent's value story and executing change management strategies aligned to the organization's evolving analytical needs.
  • Optimizing Client Analytics global workforce to deliver high value analytics while adhering to exceptional quality assurance.

Deploying efficient execution techniques such as end-to-end automation and the development of analytical engines (i.e. data marts) that enable more efficient production of standard and one-off ad hoc analytical requests.

Interpreting business needs proactively based upon given reporting requirements, translating those needs into actionable requirements for analysts to build to, and managing scope that allows for scaled capabilities (i.

e. pushing back when necessary).

  • Delivering and overseeing the delivery of standard and ad hoc reports that align to the team's scope of value additive offerings across T&S business units.
  • Delivering findings in polished, client facing decks in narrative form that emphasizes Evolent's value contribution or identifies areas of opportunity for further analysis.

Qualifications - Required and Preferred :

  • 6+ years consulting, analytics, or healthcare experience and experience with managing analysts and analytics processes and workstreams- Required.
  • Experience in an analytical capacity with client-facing responsibilities that exist with the Evolent Client Analytics team - Required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and data visualization and PowerPoint skills Required.
  • Familiarity with our core Payer Data Warehouse datasets and Evolent Data Warehouse tables, including medical, pharmacy and ancillary claims data, membership data, clinical operational data (UM & CM), or other healthcare data- Required.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or BI tool-enabled strategies, SAS, SQL, or Python programming language that will enable the ability to adjust code as needed or oversee the work of analysts responsible for the programs Required.
  • Familiarity with medical economics and cost and use concepts. Experience with identifying medical economics opportunities for large health plans Required.
  • Ability to convey the usefulness of reports and analysis to internal and external stakeholders who are unfamiliar with data and analytics Required .
  • Understanding of analytical needs, what is feasible, and what isn't feasible given data limitations Required .
  • Understanding of data systems and the critical thinking skills to account for data design / architecture changes Required .
  • Familiarity with all health care lines of business and experience presenting to client executives Required .

Technical Requirements :

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home : High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.

These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary / wage range for this position is $120,000 up to $130,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors.

As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees.

All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
