Quality Assurance Tester

We are looking for a dedicated QA tester to be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of our products.
The QA tester works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code.

Quality Assurance Tester Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze system specifications to determine the best way to perform testing.
- Conduct text execution (manual and automated), bug / error reporting, analysis, and verification.
- Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing reports
- Reporting and documenting technical issues / bugs to development team.
- Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional team to prioritize work to support the business units’ current needs to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support and document existing business application testing and issues as required.
- Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate code problems.
Quality Assurance Tester Requirements and Skills :
- Keen eye for detail, analytical mind, and excellent problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to organize and present information in a clear and concise format.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting platforms, data tools, and programming tools.
- Experience with automated testing tools is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Tester, IT Tester, or similar role.
