The Shipping Coordinator is an essential member of the Gold Seal team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing all out-of-state shipping operations.
This role coordinates orders between administrative and warehouse teams, liaises with shipping and freight brokers, and delivers top-notch customer service to Gold Seal’s out-of-state clients.
The Shipping Coordinator ensures shipments are efficient, cost-effective, and meet Gold Seal’s quality standards.
Pay and Benefits :
All full-time employees are eligible for Gold Seal's standard benefits package. Pay for this position begins at insert rate , with payment on a biweekly basis.
Employee reviews will take place 180 days from the start date to assess performance and discuss potential pay adjustments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate between admin, warehouse, and delivery teams to uphold high levels of customer service.
- Manage and track Less Than Truckload (LTL), last-mile, and cold chain shipments.
- Evaluate and compare shipping routes, rates, and methods to choose the most efficient and cost-effective options.
- Communicate with shipping and freight representatives to resolve issues related to damage, shortages, or delays.
- Build and maintain relationships with out-of-state customers, ensuring top-tier service.

- Administration and Management : Proficient in business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of resources.
- Customer and Personal Service : Skilled in providing outstanding customer service, including needs assessment, service quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
- Resource Management : Ability to effectively manage material, financial, and personnel resources.
- Product Knowledge : Familiarity with Gold Seal Distributing products and customer base.
