We're currently looking for an excited and talented Sales Account Manager to help us push our organization forward by helping us in the following areas :

JOB DUTIES :

Responsible for all account management, customer quotations and business development activities related to electronics product development and manufacturing service to tier-1 North American based automotive customers.

Responsibilities include :

  • Develops and implements sales strategies in accordance with company’s product line and manufacturing service strategies
  • Achieves valued business opportunities for continued revenue & profit growth
  • Manages all aspects of sales reporting for the accounts. Includes regular report outs on activities, customer meetings, sales forecasts, sales variances and long-range planning
  • Proactively assesses customer needs, trends and risks which could affect business development / strategy.
  • Supports current year profitability goals, and implementation of new project goals until start of production by supervision and support to Program Management
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
  • Leads the quotation (CQA) processes and applies transversal management of all involved departments in order to secure competitive and on-time outputs
  • Secures contract checking and contract management processes
  • Empowers all concerned resources through transversal management with the necessary authority to get objectives accomplished
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs and / or company’s requirements and coordinates all necessary company departments and personnel
  • Improve customer relationships by establishing and maintaining close contact with key personnel within purchasing and engineering departments
  • Reports to the Director of Sales

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Required Knowledge and Skill Sets :

  • Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint skill sets
  • Price Negotiation skills and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Understanding of technical specifications and manufacturing
  • Experience in automotive components manufacturing and processes
  • Experience of automotive HMI products would be a plus
  • Leadership, pro-activity, problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Readiness for travelling at necessary extends to secure achievement of all responsibilities.

Experience :

At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales position at Tier 1 supplier or OEM

Education :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree related to technical or business areas
  • English speaking is mandatory, Spanish and Mandarin speaking is preferred
