Production Operator Burlington, MA Company Overview : Cooledge is leading a new revolution in lighting. Roles and Responsibilities : Assemble products and sub-assemblies according to specifications and procedures.Ensure that all products and sub-assemblies meet quality standards.
Build wooden crates for packaging products and sub-assemblies using appropriate materials, tools, and methods.Install, mount, fasten, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses to build assemblies using hand-held power tools.
Label and organize packages for easy identification.Receiving shipments and packaging materials and place in designated storage zones.
Move finished goods and raw materials between different inventory zones.Package and handle custom projects and palletized shipments.
Meet daily production goals and deadlines for product and other miscellaneous tasks.Report any issues or problems with products or equipment to the supervisor.
Assist with 5S activities to maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform inventory cycle counts as directed.Support the Process and Quality team with miscellaneous duties as directed.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications : Previous experience working in a manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environment.
Hands on manufacturing skills such use of power tools required.Experience in woodworking will be an asset.Experience in material handling using a pallet jack will be an asset.
Ability to lift 30 pounds or more.Understands safety regulations and applies them daily.Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
