Job Overview
The Internal Auditor position provides support for all internal audit activities and initiatives critical to the company’s Enterprise Internal Audit Program.
This individual supports the internal audit functions, which include, but are not limited to, assist in performing annual risk assessment, evaluating business processes and procedures for internal controls, and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with approved audit plan.
The Auditor will be supporting prevention, detection, and resolution efforts of fraud, waste, and abuse through the performance of audit tests and procedures.
Monitoring and auditing activity will include ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls and formalizing and managing remediation plans to resolve compliance issues and control improvements.
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education (in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration), training, and work experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of audit experience (Internal Audit or Public Accounting) in a healthcare discipline required.
- License, Registration or Certification Preferred : Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional (CHIAP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent certification.
Salary Range :
$70,616.00 - $90,043.20 annually
