As a Paralegal you will perform paralegal duties under the direction of the Paralegal Manager and supervising attorney in specific practice areas.
Your duties will include but are not limited to :
- Reviewing and analyzing various legal documents.
- Drafting routine legal documents under the direct supervision of an attorney or Paralegal Manager.
- Compiling information concerning pertinent issues and preparing written summaries, analysis, statistics, charts, and graphs that clearly detail the findings.
- Performing legal and factual research.
The ideal caregiver is someone who :
Has around 5 years or more of experience as a paralegal focused in contracts / negotiations, or otherwise have extensive contract experience in another capacity (specifically vendor contracts, research contracts, material transfer agreements, physician contracts, IT, licensing agreements, and consulting / staffing agreements)

Responsibilities :
- Reviews, drafts, and negotiates contracts for approval by attorneys in the Law Department for a variety of transactions that may include but would not be limited to vendor contracts, research contracts, material transfer agreements, physician contracts, information technology, licensing agreements, consulting and staffing agreements.
- Ensures that both electronic and hard files are properly maintained and that accurate information is entered in the appropriate databases.
- Performs paralegal duties including reviewing and analyzing various legal documents; drafting routine legal documents.
- Compiles information concerning pertinent issues and prepares written summaries, statistics, charts and / or graphs that clearly detail the findings.
- Interacts professionally with internal and external entities, including government agencies, expert witnesses, corporations and law firms to gather information or data.
- Performs legal, factual and legislative research to identify issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree and / or equivalent certificate of completion from an accredited paralegal program.
Work Experience :
- Entry-level experience in a law firm, health care system or corporate legal department required, 5+ years preferred
- Strong organizational, communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
- Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver training in person and virtually.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly : $20.77
Maximum hourly : $31.68
