Profile :
A law firm is seeking an Attorney with up to 3 years of experience to join their trial-focused practice. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in trial law and be prepared to contribute effectively in a dynamic litigation environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Participate in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist in case preparation, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing for depositions.
- Represent clients in court, hearings, and mediation.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and case strategies.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Handle administrative tasks related to case management and client representation.
Requirements :
- Up to 3 years of experience in trial law or related legal practice.
- Strong foundational knowledge of litigation procedures and trial practice.
- Ability to manage case responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Education and Certifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Maryland State Bar, or eligibility to sit for the Bar exam in Maryland.
Skills :

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
