About this role :

This role sits in the Global Sales, Strategy & Operations (GSSO) organization who is tasked on improving sales productivity for 7,000+ Sales Force by partnering with stakeholders across the business to design and implement innovative solutions that meet client retention and growth goals and deliver strong returns on resource investment.

GSSO within Gartner encompasses Territory Planning & Analytics, Sales Technology, Sales Process & Analytics, Sales Programs, and other core functions supporting Gartner's sales teams.

This role, on the Territory Planning and Analytics team is responsible for administering and enforcing Gartner's Rules of Engagements (ROEs) in support of Gartner's go-to-market (GTM) sales strategy.

What you'll do :

Provide in-depth research and analysis for all ROE submissions concerning Bookings, Account transitions, Client initiated changes to contracts, and other related issues to be provided to sales leadership for review.

Coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders across multiple Business Units (e.g., Finance, Sales, etc.) to acquire essential information needed to adjudicate any conflicts against Gartner's ROEs.

Communicate final rulings including possible impact on commissions / booking to all levels of Sales Leadership, in line with Gartner's ROEs.

Engage with various Sales Leaders to assist and provide general guidance on questions pertaining to ROEs (e.g., Help navigate sales opportunities to ensure no ROE conflicts).

What you will need :

Strong understanding of Gartner's ROE rules with proven track record of excellent time management and communication skills

Strong emotional intelligence, analytical skills and ability to quickly pinpoint and resolve questions and escalations.

Ability to make decisions independently and prioritize responsibilities in a remote work environment.

Willing to request help from Senior Analysts and recognize when they require support.

Ability to collaborate with high level teams globally, across multiple business units.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 48,800 USD - 67,620 USD.

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
