Peak Sodding is a locally owned landscaping company that specializes in the installation of sod at residential properties.

We are a rapidly growing company in the greater Wake County area of NC. Our team is intentionally built to create incredible experiences for our clients, but also with a mindset of excellence in all that we do.

Job Summary

Our Outside Sales Estimator (or "Sod Solutions Expert" as we like to call it) is responsible for providing lawn consultations to prospective customers.

This process involves discovering and addressing prospective customers concerns and providing solutions within the scope of work offered by Peak Sodding.

This position WILL involve prospecting. As a business with fluctuating seasons, creative methods and a positive mentality can make or break success in this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a diligent schedule for appointments and prospecting
  • Consult with prospective clients to find the best solutions for their lawn
  • Create job estimates and present to customers
  • Prospect and use creative methods to create more customer opportunities
  • Utilize phone and company software to properly track progress, schedule and projects
  • Prepare proper guidelines with accurate estimation for sold projects
  • Meet & exceed sales expectations
  • Must be willing to align and operate within our core values

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid Driver's License in the State of North Carolina
  • Clean driving record
  • At least 1 year minimum experience in sales / customer service role
  • Attention to detail
  • An adaptive, quick learning mentality
  • Must have basic computer and smartphone skills
  • Knowledge of turf and a self sufficient attitude are top considerations
