Risk Management Support & Workers’ Compensation Policy Administration :
- Works with Nextep’s carrier to add and terminate clients from Nextep’s workers’ compensation policy timely.
- Submits monthly payroll reports to Nextep’s workers’ comp carrier.
- Issues certificates of insurance and other related documents evidencing workers’ compensation to Nextep’s clients upon request.
- Reviews and audits client insurance information in Nextep’s system as may be required by Nextep’s Risk team
- Respond to miscellaneous client requests pertaining to workers’ compensation (reports, loss runs, etc.), safety services, drug screening, or other risk management services as needed.
- Respond timely and accurately to internal requests, questions, and issues as needed from other departments.
- Assists Nextep’s Risk Dept. with other projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Experience :
- 1-2 years of demonstrated customer service experience working with a wide variety of people, exhibiting a high level of problem solving skills and commitment to quality and client satisfaction;
or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in workers compensation underwriting preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
