WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING :

• Having fun!
• Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess the developmental needs of students.
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff.
• Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school and the collective / individual interest of its staff and student body.
• Serve and monitor meals
• Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, hand washing
• Supervise children during nap time
• Assisting with any duties as needed by the program, such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry

WHATS REQUIRED :

• Pass a background check
• Proof of Immunizations (MMR, TDaP) as required by Community Care Licensing
• Physical Exam as required by Community Care Licensing
• Negative TB test
• High school diploma or equivalency. AA in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 12 ECE units OR minimum of 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in ECE courses
• Infant / Toddler ECE course (3 units or more)
• 1 year of teaching experience preferred but will train the right candidate
• Must be willing to change diapers and potty train
• Ability to stand up and sit on the ground for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• CPR & First Aid

SIGN-ON BONUS :

We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus for full-time employees that meet the contingencies defined in the offer letter

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

Salary : $18.50 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule :

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
