Child Care Resource Teacher - Infant / Toddler Qualified - USC's Two Main Campuses - Los Angeles, CA

Our Resource Teachers are sometimes called 'floaters' because that's what they do - they regularly 'float' between classrooms.

Spend the morning caring for infants, lunchtime with the toddlers, and the afternoon with a group of preschool artists completing their masterpieces.

As a Resource Teacher, you will :

Lead hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.

Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child's day.

Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

Requirements :

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements :

At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required

Twelve semester units in Child Development, including the core courses of Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum (Required)

Three units in Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler Development (Required)

AA / BA in Early Childhood Education preferred

Transcripts will be required at time of hire

At least 12 months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred

Compensation Range : $21.75 - $26.50 / hr

The range of compensation listed here or that may be discussed in the interview process is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.

Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
