We are seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. This role involves managing employee benefits, processing claims, and handling related administrative tasks.

The role is a short-term contract position and is based in our office in Dayton.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and process employee benefits including enrollments and terminations
  • Administer COBRA, 401K, employee compensation, and other benefit programs
  • Handle claims administration and troubleshoot any issues related to claims
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of benefits and compensation
  • Use tools like Cisco Webex Meetings and CRM for efficient communication and management
  • Assist in auditing processes related to compensation and benefits to ensure compliance
  • Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel to generate relevant reports and analyze data
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefit programs
  • Provide support for various HR functions as needed
  • Participate in the open enrollment process and provide assistance to employees.

  • Proficiency in using Cisco Webex Meetings for virtual communication and collaboration
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to manage and analyze customer interactions and data
  • Knowledge of auditing principles and practices to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Understanding of benefit functions, including designing, planning and implementation of benefits policies
  • Experience in claim administration to manage and resolve benefits claims effectively
  • Familiarity with Cobra Administration to manage health insurance plans
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders such as employees, management, and benefits providers
