This is an excellent opportunity to join a global specialty insurance business within their highly regarded pricing function.
You will support underwriters and management in developing profitable portfolios by using your pricing / analytics skills across both property and specialty lines.
Property includes business such as Inland Marine, Global Property, Delegated Property and Construction; with specialty including Energy, Aviation, Marine and Agriculture.
You will help drive consistency in pricing across business lines and have significant input into underwriting decisions as well as strategy.
This will be achieved through duties such as providing pricing models, pricing individual risks, profitability analysis and contributing to pricing strategy.
There will also be the need to develop strong relationships with other teams such as reserving, finance, data and others.
Ideally you will be FCAS or ACAS with good experience in property and / or specialty lines business. An ability to explain actuarial concepts to a non-actuarial audience is required as is a desire to learn more about how your work fits in with the organization overall.
There will be people management opportunities and any prior supervisory experience or an interest in this would be advantageous but not essential.
