Position Summary : We’re seeking a dedicated Social Media Manager to drive content creation, attract passionate users, and foster an active community of competitors and fans.
This role is central to building Gong’s presence on our platform and across social media. Our ideal candidate will be skilled in social media content creation, video editing, and community engagement, with a passion for helping talents stand out.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Engagement
- Produce engaging backstory segments for Gong News, showcasing contestants' journeys and aspirations. These stories will inspire new talent to join and enhance community connection.
- Create daily posts for Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and other channels to promote competitions, showcase talents, and share updates.
- Audience Development & Outreach
- Reach out to at least 8 potential users daily, encouraging them to join Gong Talent, participate in competitions, and bring friends and fans to vote and support.
- Build relationships with social media influencers, content creators, and other relevant figures to drive traffic and increase visibility.
- Video Content & Editing
- Assist in creating and editing promotional videos, ads, and reels to spotlight Gong’s unique offerings, driving engagement and attracting new users.
- Collaborate on brainstorming creative ideas for advertisements and campaigns, contributing fresh ideas for growth and engagement.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Participate in app testing by exploring features, posting content, and identifying issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Social Media Strategy
- Brainstorm and develop strategies for audience growth and user engagement.
- Identify potential influencers to partner with, amplifying Gong’s reach and drawing in enthusiastic users.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media content creation, community management, or video editing.
- Creative storytelling skills with an eye for visually engaging content.
- Basic video editing experience, with the ability to create compelling social media videos.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive in outreach and engagement.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
