The Opportunity : Responsible for creation and delivery of enterprise learning programs, materials and resources in partnership with partnering with stakeholders.
The role works in collaboration with leadership, management, business, and individuals to develop and deliver learning with best practice in mind and the intention of expanding skills across all employees at all levels within an organization.
In This Role You Will Execute On :
- Implementing learning and development strategies and supporting the evaluation of those strategies to ensure alignment with the organization's talent goals and objectives.
- Developing, delivering, and administering learning programs for employees at all levels of the organization, such as leadership development, professional skills training, etc.
which may involve designing and delivering instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning modules, webinars, workshops, and other training formats.
- Implementing the entire learning and development process for assigned programs, including setting up training calendars, coordinating training logistics, marketing learning programs, tracking attendance, and supporting evaluation of the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify learning and development needs, gather feedback on learning programs, and ensure learning initiatives are aligned with enterprise goals.
- Staying abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure all learning and development initiatives are in compliance.
- Collaborating and developing relationships with third party training providers for implementation and delivery of training needs of the employees.
- Supporting evaluation of the effectiveness of learning programs by conducting assessments, surveys, and other feedback mechanisms which may involve analyzing data and metrics to measure the impact of learning initiatives on employee performance, productivity, and organizational outcomes.
- Staying current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, talent management, and insurance industry-specific training requirements which may involve attending conferences, participating in professional development programs, and conducting research to ensure that training programs are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
- Providing coaching and mentoring to employees to support their learning and development needs which may involve providing guidance, feedback, and support to employees as they progress through their development plans and strive to achieve their career goals.
- Performing other duties and special projects as requested.
In This Role You Will Need :
- Five (5) or more years of experience in learning design, development, delivery, and measurement required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, instructional design, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior learning & development experience in the insurance industry required.
- Experience coaching and developing senior leaders desired.
- Certification in DiSC and Franklin Covey desired.
- Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or equivalent desired.
- Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
