Toxic Tort Asbestos Attorney - 2 Years Experience
Location : California (Remote / Hybrid - Must be licensed to practice in California)
Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Toxic Tort Asbestos Attorney with a minimum of two years in the field to join our dynamic legal team.
In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload, conduct depositions for both local and national clients, and support complex litigation involving toxic tort liability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage litigation for local and national clients across California.
- Independently handle caseloads with a focus on toxic tort and asbestos-related matters.
- Conduct and lead depositions, and prepare witnesses for both depositions and trial.
- Review and respond to discovery requests and prepare necessary pleadings.
- Prepare court filings and oversee e-filing processes.
- Assist with trial preparation, ensuring all materials are organized and ready for court.
- Maintain accurate records of all time worked.
Qualifications :
- At least two years of experience in complex litigation, toxic tort, or environmental liability.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in California.
- Extensive experience with motion practice and depositions, including leading depositions of plaintiffs and experts.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong research and writing abilities.
- Capable of analyzing complex legal issues and offering clear, actionable insights.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
