Tetra Tech's High Performance Building division is currently seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading challenging projects of various construction types in a wide range of industry sectors.
The successful candidate will work with other Tetra Tech team members in the delivery of company project initiatives related to structural engineering.
The ideal candidate enjoys working as a team player in a flexible environment and seeing work followed through during onsite visits.

Your Contributions will Include :
- Manage design and structural analysis aspects of facilities projects.
- Lead the structural engineering design for various projects.
- Deliver quality projects on time and within budget.
- Mentor junior Engineers.
- Prepare and check design calculations of structural systems.
- Write forensic and investigation reports.
- Delegate engineering and drafting responsibilities to others in a project team setting.
- Define the structural system by modeling in Revit.
- Design to local and State Codes, as well as Federal Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) guidelines.
- Utilize advanced structural engineering software tools (RISA software experience preferred).
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college / university with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
- 10+ years of related industry experience as a Structural Engineer.
- Must possess Professional Engineer (PE) Certification.
- Knowledgeable in the design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, aluminum, and wood.
- Experience working with structural engineering design software such as Revit, Risa3D, SAP2000, and Blue Beam.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
