Indiana Tech is seeking Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences for the health science program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses in the Health Sciences program in Fort Wayne, IN.
- Courses may include : pharmacology, immunology, endocrinology, toxicology, biomedical ethics, biomedical research methods, nutrition, microbiology, and anatomy.
- Ability to adjust to changing needs and processes while anticipating challenges, identifying problems, and developing solutions
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Health Science or Biology or closely related field preferred.
- College-level teaching experience, preferred
- Clinical experience, preferred
- Experience teaching a variety of health science or biology courses, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
- Demonstrated evidence of strong written and oral communication.
- Experience with a Learning Management System.
- Ability to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching.
- Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Institute of Technology.
Working Conditions
Work is normally performed in a classroom environment.
