The Office Assistant / Leasing Agent on a property plays a key role in the team by delivering a world-class customer experience to clients through marketing outreach, advertising, leasing, resident outreach, administrative duties, and resident loyalty events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Showing rental properties on site as well as in the Springfield area.
- Assist in the lease signing process, includes preparing lease paperwork.
- Provide "World Class Customer Service" to those that they interact with and serve daily.
- Generate new ideas to problems or innovates around already established approaches.
- Plan and organize tasks in an efficient productive manner.
- Focus on assigned key priorities.
- Exhibit attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Use empathy to understand the needs of others and take action to meet clients' needs.
- Look for ways to improve and promote quality performance.
- Adjust quickly to changing priorities. Cope effectively with complexity. Flex around new ideas, processes, or environments.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, surveys, and materials for the team.
- Data entry of resident information and payables.
- Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & RELATED EXPERIENCE
- A high School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
- A minimum of one year of administrative, advertising or marketing experience is preferred.
- A valid driver's license

- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The Office Assistant will be expected to interact with co-workers, guests, visitors, and vendors daily.
