The Work :

As a Junior Network Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the security and integrity of the organization's network infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on managing network security within a multi-tenanted enterprise environment. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with various technical teams and report to a Senior Network Architect within the CISO department.

Your work will span across multiple security technologies to include but not limited to : AWS, Akamai, Checkpoint, GCP, Palo Alto, and zScaler.

Responsibilities with Network Security Management include :

  • Implement and Manage Security Measures : Deploy and maintain security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), and network access control (NAC) mechanisms.
  • Network Vulnerability Assessment : Regularly assess network vulnerabilities, identify security gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Incident Response : Respond to security incidents promptly, investigate. Develop IAM road maps, architecture documents, implementation plan and metrics.

Here's what you need :

  • 2 years' experience minimum with one or more of the following tools : AWS, Akamai, Checkpoint, GCP, Palo Alto, and zScaler.
  • Administer, implement, and maintain Cyber Security and network monitoring tools.
  • Analyze system security requirements for external and internal facing web applications, Networks, Operating Systems and Cloud environment.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must be local to Washington, DC Metro Area.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia .

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is :

$62,100-$120,000 USD
