This position plays a critical role in the management, design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze network design and specifications, implementing communication system requirements for a software engineering environment.
  • Design, configure, deploy, and support various network devices and methodologies.
  • Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
  • Configure and optimize the network for connectivity to front- and back-end components.
  • Perform network administration duties, including installations, debugging, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of core network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers, intrusion detection and protective devices, and TACLANES.
  • Collaborate with system engineering and dataflow teams to ensure mission operations with minimal downtime.
  • Implement high-speed, scalable, and fault-tolerant WAN / LAN designs.
  • Set up proactive monitoring of all network devices, services, and servers for high availability and SLAs.
  • Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, plus 10 years of experience.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) or higher professional certifications.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4 Foundation certification within 6 months.
  • Expertise in Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction No. 1253, Privacy Act of 1947, and handling Sensitive Information.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco and Pal Alto hardware, software, and technology products.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software.
  • Strong IP subnetting and routing protocols understanding.
  • Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructures and server virtualization software (VMware vSphere, Microsoft, CITRIX).
  • Ability to deploy and manage complex network LAN / WLAN / MAN / WAN infrastructures.
  • Strong information security engineering skills and operational experience.
  • Knowledge of federal security regulations, NIST guidelines, and industry security.
  • Experience leading the design and integration of enterprise-level technical solutions and service management solutions.
  • Ability to capture technical requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Experience with DevOp solutions and associated management solutions.
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure, including ICAM, VDI, LAN, WAN, etc.
  • Familiarity with major security tools and various operating systems.
