Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist our M.E.P. team with projects around Ohio & Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC load analysis and duct design for various building types based on client need.
- Preparing conceptual design to final construction plans, details and specifications, as well as coordination and communication with the design team.
- Utilize Sketchup, AutoCAD, & Plant3D modeling softwares to create detailed 3D models, and technical drawings for parts & assemblies.
- Collaborate design details with other engineering disciplines within MSG and our Trilon Family firms.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience required with but, not limited to;
- Pumps and piping systems for Lift Stations.
- Bio-Digester system piping and equipment.
- Fuel systems (New design and or retrofit of existing systems).
- Piping systems design and standards.
- Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Flow Model preferred.
- Candidates must have proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Must have proficiency in working within a multi-faceted team environment, and in checking various design calculations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or field related degree is required.
