CONTINGENT UPON AWARDING OF GOVERNMENT CONTRACT

The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD ) shall manage and perform the following :

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • The ISD shall deliver material changes to assigned curriculum and / or instructional materials in accordance with the following timeline guidance as determined by the site Learning Standards Officer.
  • All curriculums will be developed in accordance with (IAW) US Forces Fleet (USFF), Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC), Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) (as applicable) guidance.
  • Curriculum is defined as encompassing but not limited to the following :
  • Training Project Plans (TPP), Course Training Task List (CTTL), Training Course Control Document (TCCD), Test Plan, Interactive Courseware (ICW), Instructional Media Requirements Document (IMRD), Instructional Project Requirements Document (IMRD), Script Story Boards (SSB), On Screen Lessons (OSL), and Lesson Design Strategy (LDS), Test Administrators Guide, student guides, instructor guides, tests, exams, Computer Based Training (CBT), Computer Aided Instruction (CAI), Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), Interactive Courseware (ICW), PowerPoint (PPT) presentations, Instructor Guided Reviews (IGR), flight event grade cards, simulator event grade cards, simulator event briefing guides, training materials, media, devices (Flash Cards), exercises for simulators or actual aircraft or equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • The Instructional Systems Designer must be knowledgeable of the NETC programs, policies and procedures, including instructional systems design , E-Learning, teaching methodologies and similar Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) software to be determined (TBD) and training requirements.
  • Must possess working knowledge of Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC), Enterprise Naval Training Reservation System (eNTRS), Corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS), and Fleet Training Management and Planning System (FLTMPS).
  • Must possess the ability to provide data entry services to enter approved course information into any other identified electronic systems as required by CNRFC and higher authority.

Minimum / General Experience :

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years' specialized experience as an Instructional Systems Designer and general experience with :
  • Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) Content Planning Module / Learning Object Module (CPM / LOM), and open source e-Learning development software such as GIMP, SeaMonkey, Avidemux / OpenShot, Audacity, Synfig, Scribus, InkScape / Open Office Draw or Adobe products such as Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud (CC), Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Captivate CC 2017, Adobe Audition CC 2017, Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, Adobe InDesign CC 2018, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office MAC 2016 and Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Minimum Education :
  • HS Diploma
  • HS Diploma
