Job Summary :
Our client in Raymond, OH is looking for a Consumer Insights Analyst. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do :
The Consumer Insights Analyst will partner with multiple product teams in a variety of projects to uncover insights for key moments in the customer journey.
This role will strategically conduct primary research methodologies such as in-person or virtual interviews, quantitative surveys leveraging analytics such as MaxDiff, Conjoint, TURF, etc.
usability research, and explore new capabilities to bring into the team. Some projects will be conducted in-house and require capability to execute from end to end, while other projects will leverage external vendors.
The project focus will be researching our evolving Customer Experience both inside the Cabin and out to support our unique value Experiences.
Experiences merging both physical and digital customer experiences will be within scope.
The Consumer Insights Analyst will work to figure out the why behind customer behavior to better inform product initiatives.
They advocate for the user through rigorous analysis and strategic thinking to interpret that voice for better product decisions.
The focus will be the front end of the Customer Experience and extraction of pain points, requirements, and opportunity spaces.
Job Responsibilities and Duties :
- Support Consumer Insights Specialist to understand product team research needs, and translate that into research objectives.
- Execution of qualitative and quantitative research across a variety of methodologies.
- Create and execute research plans and manage research projects.
- Support research and testing analysis and reports.
- Synthesize customer feedback in the form of user observations.
- Archive test findings and video recordings.
- Support the evolution of Cabin Experience strategy with our interdisciplinary partners.
- Contribute to research reports for wider organization distribution.
- Create and test low-fidelity prototypes of use-case scenarios.
- Study competitor products to identify market trends and identify potential addressable technology gaps.
- Support participant recruiting activities.
Basics :
- 3+ years professional experience in market research / consumer insights.
- Demonstrated experience in research project management.
- Such as wearables, portable consumer electronics, etc.
- B.S. / B.A in Consumer Insights, Market Research, Behavioral Science or other related field.
- Familiarity with variety of testing tools.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant research case studies.
- Expertise in Human Centered Research & Design principles.
- Ability to interview users in a one-on-one context.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Data analytics skillset and tools ready to apply.
Preferred :
- Experience with digital and software consumer products.
- Masters Degree.
- Experience in Customer Journey Mapping.
