CAIR-Sacramento Valley / Central California (CAIR-SV / CC) is seeking a passionate and talented individual for the Outreach & Programs Manager position.

Schedule type : Full-time (Exempt, Salary position)
Location : Office located in Sacramento, CA. Hybrid work-from-home structure.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead efforts to enhance engagement among the wider Muslim community on a variety of social justice and civic engagement issues.
- Build interest within the community through outreach, programs, organizing and advocacy.
- Grow and establish relationships with leaders and the community, including hard-to-reach and underserved populations.
- Work with regional partners on outreach, programs, advocacy and social justice issues.
- Plan and deliver programs, trainings, workshops, forums and educational sessions to increase engagement and knowledge of key issues.
- Ensure CAIR has a presence at masajid and other community events, activities and meetings.
- Deliver khutbahs.
- Establish and maintain community support for CAIR-SV / CC, including inspiring people to donate.
- Manage, supervise and support outreach and organizing team members
- Some travel to Central California is required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-3 years of experience working in community organizing and / or engagement.
- Highly motivated, self-initiating and energetic.
- Experience working with the American Muslim community.
- Excellent oral and written communication and managerial skills to interface with staff and community leaders in a professional and effective manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
REPORTING STRUCTURE :
This position reports to the CAIR-SV / CC Deputy Executive Director

- Compensation commensurate with skills and experience.
