Job Title : TechOps Admin
Location : New Haven, CT
Position Overview : We are seeking a talented TechOps Admin to join our cilent's team in New Haven, CT. This role is ideal for someone who possesses a blend of L3 Support expertise and Traditional IT Infrastructure Engineering skills, particularly in the End User Support / Desktop Admin domain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Manage Microsoft Windows server and client OS (Windows 2008-Windows 2019).
- Oversee Patch Management & Backups / Restores, with Rubrik experience being advantageous.
- Handle VMware management, with VxRail & Nutanix experience considered a plus.
- Utilize Microsoft PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
- Maintain and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Manage Server & SAN Hardware, with Dell experience being preferred.
- Collaborate in a global or multi-office infrastructure environment.
Desired Skills :
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2019.
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration.
- Exposure to containers such as Docker / Kubernetes.
Required Education :
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
- In-lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
Desired Certification(s) :
- Applicable Microsoft certifications (Examples : MCSE, MCSA).
- Cloud-based Certifications (Azure, M365, AWS).
