Trump International Hotel and Tower is looking for a Mechanic to join our dynamic team!

JOB OVERVIEW :

Performs repairs and preventative maintenance work to ensure the hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained

Perform general maintenance tasks including painting and carpentry projects

Ensure physical structures are in safe operating condition

Maintain all equipment in good working order with routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks

Maintain functionality of appliances, HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems

Perform general maintenance work as assigned.

Solve day to day operational issues

Complete work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, painting, repairs to pipe lines, toilets and sinks, etc

Maintains a clean and organized work area

Job Requirements :

A strong knowledge of general plumbing, carpentry and painting skills

Excellent overall communication skills using both written and verbal communication

Experience : Three plus years experience in maintenance, upkeep and repairs of a comparable facility, preferably in a hospitality setting

Education : High School graduate, preferable additional vocational trade school

Ability to know and follow safe working practices using knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Effective problem solving abilities.

Candidate must work a 100% flexible schedule which will include weekends and am or pm shift and holidays.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 80 pounds

Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Knowledge and ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.

Rate of Pay : $38.90 per hour
