We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Pool Greeter to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team! We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals with food and beverage experience to join our team.

As a Pool Greeter you will be the first point of contact for our pool guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their experience starts off on a positive note.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Reporting to the outlet Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will support and provide excellent service at our resort pools, located throughout three levels of our iconic resort.

This high-volume requires a passion for personalized service and guest engagement. The new hot spot in Fort Lauderdale will offer luxury products and service, in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities :

Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.

Ensure all guests are assisted by a Pool Attendant to provide a flawless welcome experience.

Escort guests to their cabanas and provide menus.

Assist in seating Members and guests according to seating chart or guest preferences.

Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.

Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess / host station and dining area.

Manage guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.

Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.

Effectively communicate with peers, management, line, and front-of-the-house employees

Practice effective listening : (seek to understand)

Perform related duties as required.

Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property.

Adhere to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Resort policy.

Be courteous to all guests and coworkers.

Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment / hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook

Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes at their respective outlet.

Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions in pressure situations.

Ability to remain stationary at assigned post when specified.

Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.

Experience, Education, & Licensure

High School Diploma or GED recommended.

Some College experience or Degree recommended.

Previous Host experience in a professional setting is preferred.
