Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist outsourced Big 4 firm with meeting tax filing deadlines for multiple entities, including federal / state / local (and some partnership) returns for the company.
- Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Provide support with tax special projects.
- Maintain and update status trackers for all required tax deliverables and tax returns.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
Qualifications
- Two to three years’ experience working in a combination of public accounting and / or private industry in a tax accounting capacity.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
