We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Quality Manager to join our team.
Based out of Sheridan, IN, and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Corporate Quality Manager will be responsible for managing & overseeing the quality function at our Indiana and Ohio locations.
This position will develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and controls that meet or exceed customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage quality personnel and prioritize quality functions to eliminate or reduce quality issues and meet production requirements.
- Direct activities to reduce internal and external customer PPM (parts per million).
- Review daily in-process metrics to determine team priorities.
- Coordinate problem-solving efforts using industry methodologies and track effectiveness.
- Drive and maintain an atmosphere of Continuous Improvement and Error Proofing through the implementation of Six Sigma / Lean production methodology to achieve department and plant goals.
- Promote and verify preventive and corrective actions through Control Plans and PFMEA.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers affecting quality and customer requirements.
- Implement a quality system in line with divisional procedures to ensure compliance with ISO9001, IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and all regulatory requirements.
Conduct audits to meet these requirements.
- Interact with divisional resources on problem-solving projects for product quality improvements.
- Oversee SPC, MSA, Instrument Calibration, Gauge, and Master Design & Calibration.
- Support new product development from a quality perspective and review, assess, and adopt Change Management initiatives in conjunction with the division.

Qualifications :
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or business administration, or equivalent, is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Quality or Production Management in the manufacturing sector, with a track record of accomplishments.
- Demonstrate specific mastery of SPC, MSA, Instrument Calibration, Gauge Calibration; Control Plans, and PFMEA ISO9001, IATF 16949 using OJT / Checksheets or other assessments as appropriate.
- Proven experience in managing quality functions and personnel.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and controls.
- Experience with Six Sigma / Lean production methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
