Job Title : Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Summerville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for :

• Reading and interpreting written and verbal work instructions, as well as detailed part and tool drawings.
• Setting up work areas to perform required operations for any assigned work scope.
• Obtaining all necessary tools, fixtures, and relocation equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
• Following established operational procedures to perform functions such as assembly, balancing, riveting, etc.
• Working to close tolerances on interrelated dimensions.
• Examining work scope, noting dimensions, tolerances, required tools, and operations.
• Determining the need for inspections to check fits, clearances, etc., before, during, and after assembly.
• Notifying inspectors as required.
• Checking work and recording dimensions or characteristics as needed.
• Operating manual and programmable riveters, pressure washing, and cleaning equipment.

• Grinding
• Electrical Assembly
• Experience working with a variety of tools and equipment such as lathes, drill presses, mills, riveters, presses, surface grinding, low-speed balance, heating equipment, positioners, and hand power tools.
• Diesel and / or turbine experience is a bonus.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position located in Summerville, South Carolina.

Climate-controlled manufacturing facility
