Technical Business Analyst

We are searching for a Technical Business Analyst for our client based in South Houston. This role is contract to hire and is a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office).

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst proficient in ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, enabling them to bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders.

You will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with development teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate proposed solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system diagrams.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and requirements.
• Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation support.
• Provide technical guidance and support to business stakeholders as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL querying and database design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
• Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools.
• Previous experience in the finance or healthcare industry is desirable.
