Job Description :
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join a supportive school district in Amesbury, MA. As a paraprofessional, you will assist teachers and staff in providing specialized support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities :
- Assist classroom teachers in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional assistance.
- Support students with disabilities in both academic and behavioral tasks.
- Help with classroom management and monitor student behavior to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Assist in collecting data on student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure students' needs are met.
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies as needed to meet students' learning goals.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is a plus.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students.
- Patience, passion, and a passion for helping students with diverse learning needs.
- Willingness to follow directions and adapt to the needs of individual students.
- Basic understanding of special education practices is preferred.
