We are seeking a Lead Architect with strong Revit skills and a strong understanding how buildings go together. Experience in High-End Grocery / Retail markets, Supply Chain and Distribution Center sectors, and Commercial Facility design projects highly preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 5-10 years Professional Architectural experience required
- Masters or Professional Bachelor Degree in Architecture
- Independent with knowledge regarding Building Codes
- Proficient with Revit required
- Licensed Architect or on the path to licensure
- Experience in Warehouse / Distribution and / or Industrial facilities preferred.
- self-sufficient from a knowledge base in architecture.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work under the direction of senior staff to document project requirements
- Understand and document compliance with applicable codes and regulations
- Progress steadily through document production and meet senior staff expectations
- Prepare design deliverables as directed by senior staff
- Coordinate architectural design and / or models with consulting engineering design
- Understand and prepare architectural detailing requisite to project document production
- Participate in technical discussions with contractor, consultants, project teams, and clients
- Respond to senior staff direction, comments, and quality control reviews
- Periodically observe project construction and reporting on construction document compliance
