Job Summary :
We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automated testing and a solid understanding of Python and JavaScript.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing debugging and collaboration with the development team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Test Automation : Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and JavaScript.
- Manual Testing : Execute manual tests for new features and bug fixes.
- Test Case Development : Design write and execute test cases and test plans based on product specifications.
- Bug Tracking : Identify document and track defects in the software development lifecycle.
- Collaboration : Work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
- Performance & Security Testing : Conduct basic performance and security testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure optimal application performance.
- Regression Testing : Maintain and enhance test suites for regression testing and ensure that existing functionality is not broken after changes.
- Code Reviews : Participate in code reviews and provide input on test coverage.
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) : Support and enhance the CI / CD pipeline for automated testing.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience : 5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).
- Languages : Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for test automation.
- Tools : Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium PyTest Jest or similar).
- Version Control : Experience with Git and other version control systems.
- Agile Methodology : Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development processes.
- Attention to Detail : Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication : Excellent communication skills for working in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- API Testing : Experience with API testing using tools like Postman SoapUI or similar.
- Database Knowledge : Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation during testing.
- CI / CD Pipelines : Familiarity with Jenkins Travis CI or CircleCI for test automation in the CI / CD pipeline.
- Cloud Technologies : Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
- Mobile Testing : Experience in mobile application testing is a plus.
