Description
POSITIONSUMMARY : Responsible for performing all tasksnecessary to increase physician efficiency and improve patientexperience.
This includes being the primary contact at the clinicfor the patient for any questions of either a clinical oradministrative nature (coordinating clinical calls with thephysician), as well as coordinating the physician’s schedule (bothOR and clinic, as applicable), answering telephone calls, returningmessages, and scheduling follow up tests and referrals forpatients.
This position requires an excellent working relationshipwith the physician and the ability to treat patients with respect,privacy and kindness at al times, even in times ofstress.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION : High schooldiploma or equivalent, medical terminology required.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : N / A
SKILLS :
- Computer knowledge -experience with Windows environment specifically Microsoft OfficeWord and Excel
- Keyboarding skills and theability to operate general office equipment skillsrequired
- Ability to read and write inEnglish
- Bilingual in Spanishpreferred.
EXPERIENCE : Three yearsexperience in related health care field required.
