Our Fortune 500 telecom client in NC is immediately hiring for a Lead Electrical Engineer. This role does not have any DRs and enjoys only 5% travel and a hybrid work schedule.
MUST HAVE :
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Professional Engineer ( PE ) certification
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- 6+ years of electrical engineering design experience in telecommunications or large data centers
- 10+ years of electrical engineering design experience
NICE TO HAVE :
Electrical Engineering degree
DAY TO DAY :
The Lead Electrical Engineer will not have any direct reports but will be the SME for the team. You will be the expert on electrical problems of varying complexity, leading unique projects for power systems to ensure uninterrupted backup power.
You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop processes, procedures, and technical policies, and work on voltage design, building design, complicated generator systems, and data centers with multiple levels of redundancy.
