Ops Data Analytics Manager
This Is What You’ll Do :
- Data Strategy Development :
- Design and implement a comprehensive data analytics strategy that aligns with the company's operational goals, focusing on enhancing the performance of donor centers.
- Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling :
- Develop and deploy predictive models to forecast donor center performance, identify potential issues before they arise, and drive proactive decision-making across the operations department.
- Data Governance & Quality Management :
- Establish and enforce data governance practices to ensure high-quality, consistent, and accurate data is available across the organization, serving as a trusted single source of truth.
- Operational Performance Reporting :
- Create and maintain a suite of performance dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to executive leadership, operations managers, and center directors, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Training & Development :
- Lead training initiatives to enhance data literacy within the operations team, ensuring that managers and staff are equipped to utilize data analytics tools effectively in their daily activities.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives :
- Leverage data analytics to support continuous improvement projects, optimizing processes such as donor scheduling, inventory management, and workforce allocation.
- Stakeholder Communication :
- Communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders, translating them into clear, actionable recommendations for operational improvements.
- Compliance & Risk Management :
- Utilize data analytics to monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
This Is What It Takes :
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience :
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within a healthcare or life sciences environment. Experience in leading analytics teams is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Leadership and Collaboration :
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and executive leadership, to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Communication and Problem-Solving :
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop data-driven solutions to complex operational challenges.
- Data Governance & Quality Management :
- Strong commitment to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data with experience in implementing data governance frameworks.
- Understanding of industry regulations related to data privacy and security, ensuring that all data practices comply with relevant laws and standards.
- Innovation and Adaptability :
- Innovative thinking with the ability to stay ahead of industry trends and adopt new technologies or methodologies that enhance the company’s data capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, quickly applying data analytics to new challenges.
