Role Description : The Regional Sales Manager position is a key player in our success, making this role a vital component of our company’s growth.
You will help grow our sales by identifying and developing opportunities with water utilities in both the public and private sectors who are looking to reduce their Non-Revenue Water (NRW) through distribution partners as well as direct engagement with utilities.
Prior experience, (preferrable 2+ years) with water utilities and Internet-of-Things (IOT), digital or software-based solution is a key prerequisite for this job opportunity.
This position will cover multiple states and includes travel more than 50% of the time. You will be reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing. Responsibilities
Sales Activities : Identify, quantify, develop, and manage Leak Detection sales opportunities in a defined region. Manage and grow relationships with distributors and customers through in-person and remote meetings, training sessions, opportunity discussions, etc.
Assist with Leak Detection Pilots that you have sold to ensure a successful outcome. Maintain and update opportunities regularly through CRM tool.
Participate and represent the company in conferences and trade shows. Requirements :
- Passion to develop and grow a newly established sales territory in the water industry.
- Initiative-taker with a positive attitude and extremely high energy.
- Demonstrated cold-calling success and history of growing a territory.
- A minimum of 2+ years’ sales experience in the water utility space in an Internet-of-Things (IOT), digital or software-based solution is necessary.
- A natural presenter who is comfortable explaining the benefits of a digital technology solution.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Leak Detection experience preferable, water industry experience needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred.
- Ability to travel to >
