Facilities/Maintenance Department

Principal Responsibilities :

IJ & Jeanne Wagner Jewish Community Center is now hiring Facilities Maintenance (FM) personnel. We currently have a part time and a full time position available.

Must be available Sunday - Thursday, pm. No experience necessary, all training provided.

As a member of the FM team at the Jewish Community Center, you will provide our members and guests with the highest level of customer service while ensuring their safety in a fun and community-oriented environment.

Compensation :

• Range : $16 - 18.00 + (depending on experience)

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provide customer service to all members and guests
• Cleaning duties / chemical testing as assigned
• Understand rules, policies, and procedures as stated in the employee manual as well as how to respond to any and all emergencies
• Assist fellow staff in tasks, including vehicle and building maintenance and grounds maintenance
• All other assorted minor jobs assigned by the Supervisor / Manager

Qualifications :

• 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License

POSITION REQUIREMENT

A high level of integrity and a good work ethic. Desire to be part of an elite dedicated team. Enthusiastic to learn all the different aspects of maintaining a high end property.

Desire to work toward making the lives of people who come to the JCC just a little better, through : events, health, aesthetics and educational classes.

Must be able to be outside in various weather conditions, and perform cleaning duties as assigned.
