The Docent's Collection is looking for a top-performing Hotel Guest Service Agent, Concierge, or Front Desk Agent to join our Hotel Guest Experience Team.

The Docent's Collection is searching for a motivated Hotel Guest Service Agent, Concierge, or Front Desk Agent eager to provide five-star customer service to our guests, curating a personalized experience from start to finish.

As a part of our Hoel Guest Experience Team, you are the first person to greet customers. Our Hotel Guest Service Agent, Concierges, or Front Desk Agents will sell the property under pricing guidelines, establish guest profiles using customized preferences, curate and arrange local cultural and culinary experiences, arrange transportation, and develop new partnerships to enhance the guest experience.

Some Key Areas of Responsibilities for the Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk or Front Desk Agent include :

• Welcome all guests using a five-star service approach customized to their preferences.
• Confirm bookings through established pricing guidelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guests, curating customized experiences using their personal preferences and guest profiles.
• Develop local partnerships to gather in-depth knowledge about the surrounding cultural and culinary experiences.
• Suggest and arrange activities, excursions, and transportation for guests.
• Manage, respond to, and / or distribute digital and analog messages, calls, and mail, including making reservations.
• Ensure the accuracy of all guest invoices.

Requirements for the Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk or Front Office Agent include :

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, concierge, or guest service specialist preferred
• Knowledge of the local area to make recommendations for a variety of services
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
