Each supports the development of the care provided across the continuum of the patient experience and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based nursing practice and / or clinical care & competency.

This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment development planning implementation and evaluation of competency assessment continuing education and leadership development.

In addition as a role model of professional behavior the Clinical Educator is instrumental in creating a climate of compassionate care consistent with the highest standards of Dignity Health to meet the needs of the diverse units within the service area and the overall system needs of Dignity Health.
